MEET DEPUTY EARPS!
Madison Creek is excited to introduce our new School Resource Offier! Deputy Jeffrey Earps comes to us from the Sumner County Sheriff's Department, where he has served our community for the last seven years, most recently as a patrol officer. Deputy Earps has also spent 18 years in the business world, working in accounting and business management.
In addition to his security duties, our SRO provides MCE with a different type of educator. He is well-equipped to teach students about personal safety, community involvement, and healthy choices. Equally important, however, is his ability to establish productive relationships with children--relationships that will ideally result in trust and respect for law enforcement as children grow into teens and adults. All of his efforts pay immediate dividends to our school; some of those efforts pay long-term dividends to our community-at-large.
Deputy Earps is happily married to his wife of 14 years, Rebecca, and they are the proud parents of Austin (13) and Allie (9). We are so happy to welcome the Earps family into our wonderful school community! Please take a moment to introduce yourselves to him during your next visit!
Madison Creek Elementary is a diverse educational community of high performing students, competent staff, and supportive parents, collaborating strategically for the academic and emotional benefit of children.
Madison Creek Elementary commits to preparing students for middle school and beyond through quality instruction, effective resource management, shared leadership, and a collaborative culture.
