Located at 1040 Madison Creek Road in Goodlettsville, Madison Creek Elementary serves as one of the key elementary schools in Sumner County. Established to support the growing communities in north Sumner County’s Goodlettsville area, the school has steadily expanded its academic reach and its place within the community since its early years.
Madison Creek consistently ranks among Tennessee’s elite elementary schools, placed within the top 5% statewide (ranked #51 of 1,761). Its students outperform district and state averages with 73% proficient in math and 69% in reading, compared to Tennessee’s averages of roughly 31–37%. This strong academic foundation is supported by a favorable student–teacher ratio (14–16:1).
As a proud member of Sumner County Schools, Tennessee’s eighth-largest district, Madison Creek benefits from robust district-wide initiatives, modern instructional support, and a well-established network of 49 schools serving over 29,000 students. On the Goodlettsville side of Sumner County, Madison Creek is the only elementary school, feeding students into Hunter Middle School and Beech Senior High.
